Wildlife in Naples Florida

Living in Southwest Florida affords one the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife.  I had the special experience of observing a magnificent display of nature in my own backyard: wood storks, ducks, egrets, and turtles - all converging to share the same lake as a feeding ground.  In fact, the wood storks strutted their "pomp and circumstance" by lining up for the "wedding march", a typical mating ceremony.  This small and endangered species is the only stork breeding in the United States and migrates here to breed during the dry season and feed on fish in shallow ponds.
