Pet-Friendly Naples Florida

Man's best friend can call Naples home! Although Collier County laws consider most parks, beaches, and school grounds off limits for pets, there are a number of dog-friendly parks, outdoor cafés - and even a beach in Bonita - that welcome you and your four-legged buddy. All dogs and cats must be licensed, leashed, and non-threatening. In addition, for sanitary reasons, it is required that you pick up after them. Pet friendly parks include "Rover Run" at Veterans Community Park (lease-free), Cambier Park in Old Naples (on-lease), and Ft. Myers Beach on Estero Boulevard.
A common sight in the morning on 5th Avenue and other downtown areas is local residents sipping their cup of coffee at a sidewalk café with their dog at their feet. As a matter of fact, it is a social affair for the dogs! So bring your pup and have a cup!
The Naples/Bonita area has a number of chain stores and boutiques that cater to your pooch. There are also high quality veterinarians, dog sitters, pet hotels, and pooper scooper services. (I can provide you with a list of recommendations.)
Most condominium associations have regulations with regard to pets, but they vary from one condo to another. I would be happy to give you specific information that would fit your needs.
So...whether you have a Gucci poochie or a lovable mutt, you will find that in Naples their presence will bring a smile to everyone's face. Plus, this is a great way to make new friends.
