Naples Home Sales Up for 11th Straight Month

According to the latest Naples Area Board of Realtors' Report, sales continued to climb for the 11th consecutive month.  An overall increase of 33% is reported from December 2007 to the period ending December 2008.

The NABOR President-Elect, JP Antonmattei stated, "Over the last 12 months, 5.3% of the available inventory has depleted, indicating that the properties that are priced right are being picked off.  Inventory is not building up exponentially."

Overall pending home sales in the greater Naples Area increased 100%, whereas overall pending home sales for properties under $300,000 increased 304%.  Single family pending home sales increased 158%.

Overall pending condo sales increased 46%, whereby pending condo sales under $ 300,000 increased 165% over the same 12 month period.

This report illustrates that select properties that are priced right are selling more quickly, thus lowering the number of days on the market.
