Weekend Events in Naples Florida

Spanakopita, melomakarona, pastitsio, and baklava .... hmmm ... yummy! If you are a fan of Greek cuisine, don't miss the Naples Greek festival this weekend! Each year St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church sponsors this popular three-day event. Much to the delight of their parents and grandparents, young people in traditional Greek dress carry on the customs as they perform centuries-old dances to lively music. Vendors sell a wide assortment of handmade items, including heirloom clothing and fine jewelry.

If cotton candy, carnival rides, and 4-H exhibits bring back youthful memories, a trip to the Collier County Fair might be in store for this weekend. To reach the fairgrounds, take Immokalee Road out to Oil Well Road. A schedule of the activities is posted at:

If you are a lover of the arts, another option for this weekend would be the Art Fair in Cambier Park. Tom Villani, author of The 100 Best Art Towns in America ranked Naples as one of the "100 great places for big-city art, small-town feel."
An additional suggestion for this weekend would be the Sunday afternoon jazz concert in the park. It's free! You can now park in the brand new parking garage across the street. Just take your lawn chair or blanket.
These weekend activities are a few samples of the wide variety of happenings in Naples. There is something for everyone!
