Fat Tuesday in Naples Florida


   



Last night on Fifth Avenue in Naples visitors and Neapolitans celebrated Fat Tuesday before Mardi Gras weekend.  Actually, it was a rather subdued event with some live music, but throngs of people walked the avenue and gathered in Sugden Plaza to enjoy the entertainment, restaurants, and ice cream shops.  All the establishments were busy and everybody was handed traditional Mardi Gras beads.  (This time I've included a picture of myself enjoying the festivities!)
